Our History

Over 40 years of innovation in polyurethane systems and processing technology.

From 1985 to Today

What began as a sole proprietorship in Dreieich/Sprendlingen is now an internationally active technology company. Follow our most important milestones.

  1. 1985

    Company founded in Dreieich/Sprendlingen as a sole proprietorship. Beginning of specialisation in polyurethane processing.

  2. 1992

    Relocation of the company headquarters to Rödermark, from where BKT supplies renowned manufacturers worldwide.

  3. 1996

    Registration of the Flexonal® trademark. BKT has been selling specialised liquid plastics and casting resin systems under this name ever since.

  4. 2004

    Handover of the management from Wolfgang Bachmann to Pascal Julien and Marcel Julien.

  5. 2005

    Development and market launch of elforyn® and JUMA®, our own substitute materials for ivory.

  6. 2006

    Initial certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. Confirmation of high quality standards by external auditors.

  7. 2007

    Construction of a new production hall, increasing production and storage space to more than 850 sqm.

  8. 2008

    Cooperation with Atlas USA. Both partners distribute each other's products, BKT in Europe and Atlas in North America.

  9. 2015

    Update to the current standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Confirmation of our high quality standards in development, production and service.

  10. 2018

    More than 10,000 active users in the elforyn® shop at elforyn.de.

  11. 2025

    Commissioning of an on-site solar installation covering around half of the electricity demand of our production.

  12. Today

    Owner-managed PU system house based in Rödermark with in-house laboratory, machine park and contract manufacturing. Numerous patents and trademarks, ISO 9001:2015 certification and over 40 years of industry experience. Our products are available in small quantities directly through the FLEXONAL® Webshop (flexonal.de) and the elforyn® Shop (elforyn.de).
